1. Shape your quilt top into a square and make sure your quilt backing fabric is squared up as well. Your backing fabric should be at least 3 inches wider on all four sides of your quilt!

2. Cut any and all loose threads off your quilt top

3. Please don't pin or baste any of your quilt layers. 

4. If your quilt top is directional, place a pin at the top and center of your quilt.
